Jason Hanke

Legal Practitioner Director

Jason practices principally in the areas of criminal law, commercial and business law and conveyancing. He also accepts instructions in wills, estates and commercial disputes and litigation.

He completed a double degree in Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Behavioural Science at La Trobe University in Melbourne in 2007 and was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2009.

Having been raised in country Victoria, Jason has a personable manner, but a professional approach to his legal practice. He builds strong relationships with his clients and prides himself on his ability to achieve client-focussed outcomes. Jason is fast growing a reputation as an advocate for clients in courts and tribunals in the Albury-Wodonga region.

Away from the office, Jason enjoys spending his time with his wife and two children and playing golf with his friends.

Matthew Burt

Legal Practitioner Director

Matthew is highly regarded in the field of business and commercial law and conveyancing. He also accepts instructions in the areas of wills and estates, property law and commercial disputes and litigation.

After commencing his legal career in 2000, Matthew was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2008. Matthew’s legal qualifications are enhanced by an honours degree in environmental science.

He was raised in the Albury-Wodonga region and has an intimate knowledge of the area. He is a life-member of the Boomers Football Club and has served on the committee for over 20 years, including in the capacity as treasurer and president.

Matthew holds an Asian Football Confederation “C” coaching licence and spends a lot of his spare time coaching both junior and senior grades.

Matthew is married with two children. His interests include football, golf and gardening.
